More Invitation from BC PNP Tech Pilot Project

Our Province of British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program’s Tech Pilot invited 28 Skills Immigration and Express Entry candidates.

The pilot issues invitations to eligible foreign tech workers with a valid job offer in one of 29 in-demand priority occupations in the province.

Skilled Worker and International Graduate candidates in both the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams were invited.

In order to qualify under the EEBC streams, candidates must be registered under both the federal Express Entry system and the province’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

Candidates who obtain a provincial nomination under the EEBC streams receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Candidates invited in the February 19 tech draw must demonstrate a one-year full-time job offer — with at least 120 calendar days remaining at the time of applying— instead of the BC PNP’s standard requirement of a permanent, full-time job offer, which applies to most immigration categories under the program.
