Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 1391 invitations to apply (ITAs) in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)-only draw and conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the fifth invitation round conducted by the department in July. Candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 670 to be considered.
Latest Express Entry Draw – Results
Most recently, IRCC invited 3,200 prospects in a category-based selected draw for French proficiency on July 8.
Another PNP-only draw occurred on July 2 and invited 920 prospects with a CRS score 739.
CRS scores for PNP-only Express Entry draws are higher than average because Express Entry prospects who have been successfully nominated for the PNP automatically obtain an additional 600 CRS points on top of their current score. For example, an Express Entry prospect with a score of 300 that is successfully appointed will have an overall CRS of 900.
If you’ve been invited to this latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to offer a complete application for permanent residency (PR) to the IRCC department. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be founded on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
